Payette County Recording requirements to record Surveys:

  1. One Full sized Mylar copy with surveyor’s seal, signature and date for us.
  2. One 8 ½” x 11” paper copy, with surveyor’s seal, signature and date for us.
  3. Index Number(s) printed or written on Survey.
  4. Surveying company’s or surveyor’s name printed or written on Survey.
  5. Name of customer for whom the survey was done printed or written on Survey.
  6. Enough room to affix our label without obscuring info on survey.
  7. $5.00 per page recording fee.
  8. Up to ten (10) extra copies (Mylar or paper) conformed at no extra cost for your records.


Payette County Recording requirements to record Subdivision Plats

  1. Two Full Size Mylar copy with all dates, signatures and notaries for us.
  2. One 8 ½” x 11” paper copy with all signatures and notaries for us. 
  3. All Engineering and City/County fees must be paid before we can record. 
  4. $11.00 fee per Subdivision up to 100 lots. 
  5. $.05 extra for every lot over 100 in the same Subdivision. 
  6. Up to ten (10) extra copies (Mylar or paper conformed for you at no extra cost for your records)

General Guidelines for No Previous Passport

  • All applicants must apply in person at the Clerk's office
  • Passport application, filled out but not signed (available from the Clerk's office or online here)
  • Certified copy of applicant's birth certificate
  • Current driver's license or picture I.D. (If you are out-of-state you will need two (2) forms of I.D.)
  • 1 passport photo
  • Check or money order to U.S. Department of State for application fee
  • Check, money order, credit card or cash to Payette County for execution fee.
  • Passport Renewal forms are available at the Clerk's office

Official results for May 18, 2021, Consolidated Election


To vote in the November 2, 2021 election, Payette County residents can register to vote at the Payette County Clerks Office by October 8, 2021, or in person on election day at your polling location.  Voters that wish to vote by mail MUST REQUEST their absentee ballot from the county clerk or online through the Secretary of State’s website by October 22, 2021. The Payette County Clerks Office is located in Room 104 of the Payette County Courthouse building at 1130 3rd Ave N, Payette Idaho.

Lawerence Denney, Secretary of State, noted that accommodations for the disabled community are still a priority for the counties and will be handled on a county by county basis. “Any voters who would normally request assistance for voting or who have accessibility concerns should please directly contact their county clerk’s office to discuss what accommodations can be made available.” The Payette County Clerks office can be reached at 208-642-6000 and Absentee ballots can be requested at

Candidate Filing Packets  for the upcoming November 2021 elections are available at the County Clerk's Office as well as the City of Payette office for City Candidates and Individual Taxing Districts for Cemetary, Fire, School Board and Recreation district seats. Deadlines for filing as follows:

City Offices Candidate Filing:  Opens August 23, 2021 - 8:00 am and closes September 3, 2021 - 5:00 pm.

Taxing District Candidate Filing: Closes September 3, 2021 - 5:00 p.m.

Candidate Withdrawal Deadline is September 17, 2021.
